A Sydney trip with a difference. We had a day in the lab on Wednesday then two days at sea on HMAS Sydney. The best bit was stepping back onto dry land at the end.

I'm off to Sydney this afternoon for a day in the test lab followed by an overnight cruise on the high seas. Darrrr. I keep slipping into talking like a pirate.

I get up when I like

Sigh. Sounds good to me.

On Friday we had the greatest barbeque I've ever been to. For years we've been buying cartons of soft drink and selling them at work for a profit, and now we've spent our vast fortune ($600) in a single day of gluttony. And it was good.

Back into the swing of things after the Christmas break. I went dancing this week and hated every minute of it (which inspired the title).

I have acquired a Sun Ultra Enterprise 1. Since Enterprise apparently means no graphics card to Sun, I really need to work out its IP address in order to do anything with it. Unfortunately I have no idea what its address might be. It might not even have one. And although it sounded like it booted, it's possible that it's just sitting there waiting for a fsck.
