We have a new puppy named Oscar. He's sleeping on my lap at the moment, and I don't want to disturb him, so I might as well write this.

I've also had my new digital camera for a couple of weeks now (a Nikon F50). A happy coincidence, is it not?

I almost got wet coming home yesterday. My car leaks. :(

So this morning the car smelt funny, and this afternoon an old bastard decided to try to run me off the road, then I had to detour to avoid nasty traffic caused by a road closure.

And today was a relatively good day on the roads.

I wrote that a couple of days ago. Inside we have new camera info, movies, and random thoughts.

It's because I'm lazy.

My team has 37 problem reports due in 12 days, and I'm procrastinating by writing this. In a fit of management pseudo-efficiency this morning, I wrote up a spreadsheet to rate each problem report by importance, urgency, severity, and a few other factors, then rank them overall. I'm sure this will save at least five minutes every day.

I think I need to start writing smaller diaries. Otherwise I never get around to posting anything. This week I find myself in Sydney, and now that I've removed all the viruses from the PC in the apartment (17 infected files), I can actually get something written.

A bit about the wedding, there's even a photo! I'll write something about the honeymoon later, when I have more time. I should start cooking dinner now, and I have to go back to work tomorrow. Bah.

Just coming to the end of a three day weekend, today being the Labour Day public holiday. I think it is our least meaningful public holiday; they should scrap it and bring in a new one in October. It would space the holidays out a bit better. They could even move labour day to October. Nobody would care.

There is no reason why the title is in French.

That's probably a fair breakdown of why I haven't posted anything for ages, and why it took me a week and half to mow the lawn. Amongst other things. The wedding is in 3 weeks and things are starting to get hectic.
